         Population and Housing Census The Population and Housing Census is the process of collecting information on all individuals based on their actual place of residence, regardless of whether their names are listed in the household registration. The data collected are processed and presented in aggregate form to support accurate policy-making and planning for demographic, social, economic, and environmental development at the national, regional, and local levels. The data are also used for the effective and appropriate provision of public utilities and basic services for each age group in different areas.

        The census is conducted in accordance with the Statistics Act B.E. 2550 (2007), Section 5 (4), which authorizes the implementation of censuses, sample surveys, or the supervision of various national surveys. All collected data are treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party (as stated in Sections 15 and 16). The operation also complies with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), Section 24, as part of the official statistical duties performed for public interest.

Instructions

         - Please enter the information of all individuals who actually reside in the household (regardless of whether their names are listed in this household registration). This includes regular residents, temporary residents who have stayed for more than 3 months, and those temporarily residing elsewhere (without a permanent address or who have settled elsewhere).

         - The information you provide is considered official and confidential. The National Statistical Office will aggregate the data for statistical use in national planning and the improvement of people’s well-being. It will not be used for tax collection purposes.
